Mas Masaller, from the 13th century to today's rural tourism
At Mas Masaller, we invite you to discover an architectural and cultural gem dating back to the 13th century . This historic farmhouse, located in the Baix Empordà and surrounded by farmland and forests, was for centuries a center of agricultural, livestock, and winemaking activity.
From a Medieval Farmhouse to
a Charming Rural House
Today, what was once a vegetable garden has been transformed into a beautiful garden with a pool, playground, and hammocks, perfect for relaxing and enjoying time with family or friends. The walls surrounding the garden, along with the well and watering hole, still retain their original character, reminding us of our roots.
On the ground floor, you can visit the stables and barns in their original state, as well as the traditional wine vats, which are now part of the dining room, creating a unique and historic atmosphere.
Every Corner,
A Story to Tell
Although we’ve preserved the original structure of the farmhouse, some modifications have been made over time. For example, in the main living room, the old barn has been integrated into the house, leaving an interior facade that adds character and authenticity.
In the kitchen, you can still appreciate original features such as the stone sink, the chimney hood, and the bread oven, which keep alive the tradition and charm of bygone eras.
